Nancy Ajram is one of the most famous Lebanese pop stars, born on May 16, 1983 in Beirut, Lebanon. She was a star since childhood, performing songs in various occcasions and festivals. She released her first album when she was 15. Akhasmak Ah was the breakthrough song that launched her to Arab stardom in 2004, after collaboration with producer Jiji Lamara.
Nancy Ajram has released several platinum albums including Mihtagalak, Sheel Oyounak Anni, Ya Salam, Ah w Noss, Ya Tabtab, Betfakkar fi Eh, in addition to the baby album Shakhbat Shakhabit and other releases for live performances at festivals.
Most of Nancy Ajram's songs are well-known and have reached top charts, including Shil 3younak 3anni, Akhasmak Ah, Ya Salam, Ah W Noss, Lawn 3younak, Ihsas Jdid, Elli Kan, Lamset Eid, Mashi Haddi, Sheikh El-Shabab and many others.
Nancy has won lots of local, Arabic and international music awards, including Murex d’Or, Cairo International Song Festival, World Music Award and many others. She has also represented Coca-Cola Middle East in several advertisments and sponsorships. In 2009, she was appointed as the Regional Ambassador for the UNICEF in the Middle East and North Africa.
