Karol Sakr
Karol Sakr (also spelled as Carole Saqr), is a Lebanese singer, married to Hadi Sharara, a famous music arranger, composer and producer. Her sister is the famous Lebanese singer Pascale Saqr.

Karol started her career in music as a singer for English songs, and gained fame for being the lead singer in the Lebanese rock music band Zed, where she performed with Hadi Sharara.

Karol participated in several international talent shows, including Star Search TV program in Australia and USA where she won top prizes.

Karol Sakr released her debut album Jealous in 1989, which was a big success. Her second album Away was released in 1996, which won the Golden Album Award.

In 2004, Karol shifted to Arabic music and released her first Arabic hit song Ouli Jayi (a duo with Assi el-Hellani). She then released several Arabic songs including Da2et Albak, Ya Albi Rou2 and others.

Karol represented Lebanon in several international music festivals, such as Sopoy Festival in Poland and Brasov Music Festival in Romania, where she won several music awards and prizes.
